Hi there!
My name is Samira Dang and I'm currently studying Computer Science at the University of Toronto. I shared a passion for design, software development and everything in between.
As a kid, I was always a big people-watcher, attentively capturing the nuances of human emotions and interactions with their surrounding environment. Why do people feel happy? What makes them angry? Embracing these curiosities, I love developing software experiences that start and end with people.
Originally an Architecture major, it took me a bit of soul searching and affinity mapping of my life to realize my career aspiration is to improve others' lives with software development— to develop for good. As I opened my heart with technology, I found myself in pockets of opportunity where I can spark joy in the daily lives of people.
When I log off, I love experimenting with food, reading a book or thrifting dishware.
