My name is Samira Dang and I graduated from the University of Toronto studying Computer Science.
As a kid, I was always a big people-watcher, attentively capturing the nuances of human emotions and interactions with their surrounding environment. Why do people feel happy? What makes them angry? Embracing these curiosities, I love designing experiences that start and end with people.
Originally an Architecture major, it took a bit of soul searching and affinity mapping of my life to realize my career aspiration is to improve other’s lives with design— to design for good. As I opened my heart with technology, I found myself in pockets of opportunity where I can spark joy in the daily lives of people. With the intention of emotional connection, visual simplicity, and impactful communication, I strive to design for good.
